BRIDGET HEARNE-SALIBA ARAD Dip PDTC RAD RTS
Bridget
was trained from the age of 11 years at the Royal Ballet School and on graduating 8 years later joined London Festival Ballet, now known as English National Ballet. She spent the following 10 years touring the world and gaining invaluable experience in the field of ballet. After qualifying as a teacher at the Royal Academy of Dance she has sought to impart this knowledge and experience through her schools – Acton Ballet School, Fulham Ballet School and Maida Vale Ballet School. In 1989 Bridget co-founded English Youth Ballet and was General Manager for 12 years before leaving in 2010. During this time she learnt a tremendous amount about the way children develop and the technical difficulties that present itself within the teaching of ballet. She is passionate about this art form and the importance of good teaching and is particular that teachers within the schools follow her standard.

ALEXANDRA PINK BA (hons) AIDTA RAD RTS.
Alex is a very accomplished teacher, sympathetic to young children in her care and is skilled in developing the talents, musicality and love of dance in all children. She has been both a dancer and choreographer in her time and has performed abroad and in theatres across Britain and also on television for both the BBC and ITV.
Alex is currently studying part time on a PGCE course (Postgraduate certificate in Education) to obtain the DTTLS (Diploma in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector) which will enable Alex to teach national curriculum and vocational students. |

SENIOR IRISH TEACHER
LAURA RYAN T.R.C.G.
Laura
began her career as a professional Irish dancer travelling the east coast of America, Europe and the United Arab Emirates representing Ireland at International Festivals, and high profile shows with the Irish Tenors. Laura took all her graded examinations when a student and is now a qualified teacher registered with An Comhdhail and only recently moved from her home town Dublin to London and immediately started to teach at Acton Ballet School. |

A well qualified and passionate ballet teacher who has an excellent knowledge of the RAD syllabi providing the opportunity to teach at any required level joins Acton Ballet School in the summer of 2011. |

TEACHER and CHOREOGRAPHER
KARINA AVETISYAN RAD RTS
Karina was a professional dancer with the National Armenian Ballet from 1979 – 2001 when she came to England and studied with the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) to become a qualified teacher. Not only is she able to teach in the classical RAD style but also the Russian style, Armenian and modern dance. |

Both work on a part time basis to support Bridget with administration at the beginning and end of terms.
| ALL TEACHERS ASSOCIATED WITH ACTON BALLET SCHOOL, MAIDA VALE BALLET SCHOOL and FULHAM BALLET SCHOOL each have an enhanced CRB clearance and the schools carry Employee and Public Liability insurance. |
