WHY CHOOSE BALLET FOR YOUR CHILD?
Every little child wants to dance and it is to this end that Acton Ballet School (ABS) imparts the best teaching and instils a love of the art to all children who join the school. Even if it is only a temporary wish to learn to dance they will gain – poise, musicality, an understanding of what their body is capable of and a joy of movement. For the more dedicated student opportunities are offered through connections with the Royal Ballet School and also the Royal Academy of Dance.
 TAP & MODERN and IRISH CLASSES
However, the school does not confine itself to just ballet but Tap & Modern classes and also the very popular Irish dance class. Children in the Irish class attend many a 'feis' throughout the year and always attend the annual All England Irish Dance competition.
A QUALIFICATION FOR TEENAGERS
An exciting development for Acton Ballet School is the start of a GCSE Dance course in the Autumn of 2011.
ANNUAL SHOW
Every year the school holds an annual show which gives a thrill to all students as they realise that the end result of all the hard work in classes means that they can dance on stage, wear a costume and use make-up and perform to an audience – their parents!
